Sibol is the name of the Philippines' National Esports Team.
The team's name is the Filipino word for "growth," and it is an apt as it signifies not only the rise of esports around the world but also the advancement of esports talent in the Philippines.

In charge of creating and managing Sibol will be the Philippine Southeast Asian Games Esports Union (PSEU), a group under the Philippine Olympic Committee. Aside from athlete management, the PSEU is also the organizing body responsible for running the qualifying tournaments as well as the esports events during the SEA Games.
PSEU is a the union of the Esports National Association of the Philippines (ESNAP) and the National Electronic Sports Federation of the Philippines (NESFP). The group is determined to make Sibol a representation of the country's best gamers and athletes aimed towards one goal: SEA Games gold.
